This Sauvignon Blanc possesses notes of grapefruit, citrus pith, and Granny Smith apple. The flavor is crisp and lean, with a zippy, citrus finish. Chilled, this wine is a perfect pairing with oysters on the half shell or a seafood salad.
For our Stainless Steel, Los Carneros Chardonnay, we limited all winemaking interventions, in an effort to showcase the beautiful, rich fruit of this grape. The flavor profile of this Chardonnay consists of peach, lemon, melon, grass, and vanilla.
Our winemaker, Eric Lyman, chose to produce this Chardonnay in the Chablis style, unoaked and vinified in stainless steel tanks. This process produces racy, green apple acidity and gives it versatility in pairing with different foods.
Aromas of green caramel apple and pear preserve continue as flavors onto the palate and are accented by baking spice notes at first sip. Flavors of spiced apple and creme brulee unfold into the lengthy finish.
Our 2016 Viognier was fermented entirely in stainless steel tanks at a cool temperature to preserve the aromatics. With only 99 cases produced, it is one of our most popular small-lot wines.
Aromas of strawberry, raspberry, citrus, and hints of anise, along with the traditional dried fruit of a Zinfandel sourced from old vines, make this Rose outstanding. Zinfandel, whether it is made as a Rose or red wine, is the perfect wine to pair with the all American meal of anything cooked on the barbecue!
Grown in the Reinke Vineyard of Napa's Carneros District, these Pinot Noir grapes are influenced by cooling breezes off the San Pablo Bay, allowing a longer hang time in which to develop flavor and intensity, without sacrificing acidity and true balance. This wine is full of aromas of boysenberry and spice, followed by hints of smokiness with a long, smooth finish of cola and caramel.
This wine has sweet notes of spice with undertones of black jammy fruit. The full mouth-feel transforms into a lingering finish, allowing the memory of the bold fruit to live long after finishing the glass.
An opaque deep ruby color in the glass, and having aromas of dark ripe blackberry as well as a slight hint of spice and smoke, this Zinfandel exemplifies the true varietal characteristics. Blueberries and black currants dance across the palate with a tannic structure that is well balanced by the purity and clarity of the acidity.
Our Grenache is a classic representation of the varietal, displaying flavors of bright strawberries, raspberries and notes of white pepper. The bold fruit could be compared with a fruit roll up! It is juicy and mouthwatering with a finish that lingers for several minutes.
When Mourvedre is grown in the foothills of the Sierras, its bold luscious fruit presents deep, rich, spicy boysenberry with hints of cherry and cinnamon. The Grenache grape tends to be soft and silky, somewhat akin to a top flight Pinot Noir but with more density and palate presence. The Syrah grape, deep purple in color, showcases lavender, violet, cocoa and nutmeg characteristics.
The blackberry, boysenberry, and plum characteristics come through beautifully. Hints of dried fruit, such as raisin and fig, are tasted in the long smooth finish.
