2012 Judd Meritage - Our goal with each Judd bottling is to make a balanced and food-friendly wine that is distinct and stylistically different from the Judd’s Hill wine of the same varietal. Our first ever Judd Meritage is a blend of 47% Cabernet Franc, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon and 13% Merlot. The Cabernet Franc that dominates this blend is ripe with juicy red fruit coated in dusty tannins. The Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot add further structure and complexity to this silky and satisfying wine.
2012 Napa Cabernet Sauvignon - With a hint of cola, bright cherry, plum and pomegranate, this moderately tannic wine has a silky mouth-feel and a long lingering fruit finish. As the wine glides over the palate, the tannins diminish, a sensory indicator that the art of winemaking is in the blend.
2011 Kairos Cabernet Sauvignon - The expressive bouquet is full of ripe cherry and cocoa. As you take your first sip, flavors of dark stone fruit, dusty cocoa powder and bittersweet chocolate come into focus across your palate. Additional spice notes of nutmeg and ginger, with hints of citrus, make an appearance as the wine expands and grows more complex through the long finish.
