This Syrah was fermented as three separate lots, with three different strains of yeast. This process added complexity to the ten-day fermentation. Following fermentation, the Syrah spent 19 months in French Oak before being assembled into a final blend.
Syrah pairs beautifully with all types of roasted, grilled, or smoked meat dishes, such as duck, beef, veal, sausage, and chicken. This bold luscious fruit also pairs beautifully with game, rich braised dishes, and stewed meats or fish. In addition to these main dishes, Syrah is a vibrant companion to various hard cheeses, like Parmigiano-Reggiano, and soft cheeses, such as Camembert or Humboldt Fog.
