Our 2010 Meritage is bright, balanced and fruit-driven. Although this wine is a blend of Bordeaux varietals, it is a bit reminiscent of the wines of southern Burgundy, and could almost be introduced as Beaujolais’ more worldly and serious big brother. We’d suggest pairing it with anything from a Margherita Pizza, or a basic red-sauce pasta dish, to rosemary and garlic roast leg of lamb with new potatoes.
